Do you feel like you need time to be ready for the day?
Sometimes the day jus goes and we feel blah
We feel not in place
We feel out of place
Because we were not really ready for the day
Probably had a rushed morning
No time to think and just ran off with work and tasks of the day
I realized a few things to feel ready for the day:
Getting some good sleep the night before helps me wake up calm and composed
Sitting in quiet for a few minutes as I wake up,
Not touching my phone
Slowly getting off the bed, feeling my body relaxed and healthy
Drawing open the curtains and looking out for a few minutes or maybe just a minute
Counting to myself 4-5 things I am grateful for today
Then, off to get ready for the day..
All these mindful steps might take 10 minutes only if done fully present as we wake up,
Everyone is different, everyone has their own perspective to be ready for the day.
I feel it doesn’t have to be complicated or hard,
Just a few minutes in peace is enough to set the mood for the day,
