Nothing is easy. You have to choose your pain.
The pain of ‘same’ or the pain of ‘change’.
Many times we learn it the hard way,
by ‘allowing’ the pain of same.
When you realize what you have allowed so far and make a conscious effort to change your life;
you get in the ‘nothing to lose mindset’
The shift is not sudden,
It is slow;
gradual,
deliberate:
– You feel scared but you try anyway
– you are not sure but you make the move anyway
– you don’t have the skills yet but you take the first step anyway ( you are confident you can learn on the way!)
– you have second thoughts, but you are consciously able to suppress it. You let your feeling of ‘this is going to be okay’ bigger than your feeling of ‘fear and doubt’
– you don’t stress anymore about the outcome, you have just decided to trust your gut and enjoy the ride
– you feel okay being ‘uncomfortable’
– you feel alive more than ever
You have nothing to lose.
If it works out, it works out. If it doesn’t, you learn and try again.
That’s how you look at it now.
