For the longest time this word is present in my sub conscious.
I first heard it in my Physics class in school.
It is one word I cannot forget because it changed how I looked at things.
I could always relate to or connect to this word in my daily life
because it is very relevant, very real.
What does inertia mean?
It has a scientific meaning and explanation as per Newton’s Law. You can read in detail here.
But in practical world terms it means our resistance to change. Resistance to move, resistance to be different than who we are today.
In physics we studied about things and objects and how they move, why they move or do not move.
But I feel this is so relevant to real life also.
We are wired to resist anything new, anything different.
But in order to achieve anything in our hearts and mind,
we have to break this aura of inertia.
we have to become aware firstly, that it exists in our lives every single day.
we have to make a choice to actively work to reduce it, diminsh it
in order to be closer to what we want to do.
Simple and easy to think about,
but hard to consciously do it.
